Aspirating Smoke Detector (VESDA) provides early fire detection with actively aspirating invisible smoke-containing air which presents in the primary stage of fire.
Since it detects fire faster than any other detectors, it is installed in the area where conventional detectors can’t perform perfectly.
Aspirating Smoke Detector (ASD) is installed within 0.8m~1.5m (2.6ft ~ 4.9ft) so that it can be inspected and maintained safely and full-time remote control & vigilance is available if the monitoring system (VSM4) is installed.
